Biography
I am a safety and reliability engineer, born in Italy in 1994 and working between Switzerland, France and Italy. My work sits where electronics design meets the standards that decide whether a system may be trusted with people's lives: automotive SoCs under ISO 26262, VLSI systems at CERN, and now unmanned aerial vehicles.
Experience
- 2023 - present, Head of Testing and Reliability, WindShape, Geneva. Head of the Electronic Testing and Reliability department, with particular focus on the roadmap to standardisation for UAV.
- 2022 - 2023, Verification and Reliability Engineer, CERN, Geneva. USER in the EP-ESE-ME section, exploring new techniques for the reliability assessment of VLSI systems.
- 2020 - 2023, Hardware Design Engineer, STMicroelectronics, Crolles. Design and verification of high-reliability IP for safety-critical applications.
- 2018, Visiting Student, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Oxford. Work in the ChipIR thermal neutron beam facility at ISIS: spectroscopy with High-Purity Germanium detectors, and testing under neutron flux an SRAM detector I designed myself.
- 2017, Security Engineer, Thales Alenia Space, Rome. Establishment of a secure link from spacecraft to ground segment, and preparation of the papers required for security certification.
- 2016 - 2017, System Engineer, European Space Agency, Noordwijk. NEMESYS team in the REXUS/BEXUS programme, which flies student-designed experiments on sounding rockets and stratospheric balloons.
Education
