NEMESYS

An experiment flown under the ESA REXUS/BEXUS programme, in collaboration with SNSB, DLR, ZARM and SSC, studying the interaction of neutral particles with commercial off-the-shelf electronics. The experiment was launched on a stratospheric balloon from the Esrange base at Kiruna, in Sweden.

Before flight it went through a full qualification campaign: a neutron beam test of the complete setup at the ISIS ChipIR facility of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, thermal testing in the laboratories of the University of Roma Tre to simulate flight conditions, and vacuum testing at the INFN laboratories to simulate the pressure at altitude.

MYRINA

A board developed at the University of Rome Tor Vergata for testing commercial off-the-shelf components under a neutron beam, characterised at the ISIS ChipIR facility of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
