Research
My research concerns the reliability and functional safety of digital systems: how to measure whether a design will fail, how to show that it meets a safety standard, and how to do both without waiting for silicon. This has meant model-based safety assessment, automated extraction of dysfunctional models, software reliability metrics, and radiation testing of components under neutron beams.
